Hello! I’m Jeff, the Dissertation Master.
As a retired academic, there are a number of things I would like to pursue. The remaining years are meant for me to close the gap and fulfil my bucket-list of dreams. Now, I am contented to spend more time with my wonderful family – which includes Icarus, the family’s Labrador.
Still, I look forward to moments of sharing. My job as an academic, researcher, dissertation supervisor and panellist has rendered me insightful and ever-ready to provide assistance to struggling students.
My vision is simple: I want to see budding researchers conquer their dissertation- dilemmas. Whether it is writer’s block, procrastination, desperation or stress, I would be more than willing to help. I can assure you that I am not necessarily assigning myself as a dissertation guru, because really, I’m more of a dissertation master (thus, the site’s name).
But while I may have been sitting in an advanced level of research, I think I see myself tackling with younger researchers – undergraduates and newbie masters students. I enjoy conversations with these set of scholars and I believe no topic is ever “stupid.”
Every query you post will be treated with diligence. Every comment you leave is garnered with appreciation. Because really, the questions you create help build a rich literature of dissertation tips and knowledge.
Hence, I invite you to join me in my mission. Please, check my posts and let me know what you think. You are free to disagree or agree. You can even suggest topics on the following categories:
And for the general theme, consider topics for this niche:
Dissertation Master isn’t solely for me. It is not just my place for broadcasting assistance, ideas, or interesting stuff. It is for students who want to advance their research skills to the next level. It is for researchers who want to start at the right track. And it is for those who have been lost in the dissertation-jungle and want their way back.
It is also for you, yes, you right there!
